We created a special video series for Hobo to communicate the brand's handcrafted luxury sensibility. We drew inspiration from Hobo's Founder and Head Designer, who developed a deep love for leather during her formative years working in her mother's leather shop in the 1970s, learning to cherish the material’s imperfections and timeless appeal of patina.
We juxtaposed Super 8 grain with clean, modern gimbal work to highlight the craftsmanship and sumptuous leathers in a way that was both artistic yet product-driven.
Nastasi Architects commissioned Super G to create a docuseries about the firm's premier projects. Hours of off-camera interviews cut with expressionistic super-8 film footage illustrate principal architect John Nastasi's unpretentious design aesthetic born out of "the poetic dignity" found in the industrial Jersey City buildings of his youth. The resulting short films are the beginning of an ever-growing archive that will live on the firm's website and social media channels.

We created a series of brand films for Calypso St. Barth as part of an integrated print and digital campaign designed by Worktable NYC to reconnect the brand to it's boho-chic French heritage. The films aired on Taxi TV and played on the brand's website.
We collaborated with Worktable NYC to create a dynamic film for Fossil that complemented their Summer Road Trip print campaign in a product-centric way. The set design featured a moving image backdrop of the scenic drive along the Pacific Coast HIghway with models positioned in the foreground on a turntable. We used a combination of video and vintage Super-8 juxtaposed with slow and fast motion, and black-and-white and color, to cut an engaging piece that conveys the energy which travel on the open road evokes.
In 2022, Nespresso achieved B Corp™ certification, joining an international movement of 4,900 purpose-led businesses that meet B Corp’s high standards of social and environmental responsibility and transparency. Accompany Creative hired us to edit the commercial announcing Nespresso’s B Corp certification status, starring their band ambassador George Clooney.
Adidas wanted to celebrate the people who make the brand great and who delivered an exceptional “Season of Great.” We filmed the piece at their corporate headquarters in Portland and interviewed the team - a group of the most passionate and talented individuals in their field that collaborated together to bring the great.
The idea of the "laundered" white shirt was the basis for the Tumble Dry film concepts. The films layered into an overall print and digital image campaign conceived by Worktable NYC, playing on the brand’s website and in BD Baggie’s shop-in-shops.
For Edelman Digital, we created a series of poignant spots for Lambda Legal’s “#iDO” campaign for marriage equality. We purposefully used an Errol Morris technique to shoot the interviews, allowing each person to tell their personal story in the most intimate way and to make a meaningful connection with the viewer. High-contrast light, striking shadows and rich blacks made for timeless, cinematic imagery ala Irving Penn, complementing the overall direction. The resulting edit conveyed the importance and emotion of the right to say “I DO” for any gender.
In collaboration with Empire City Casino and Worktable NYC, we took a gamesome approach to each and every commercial concept, creating humorous, engaging spots that showcase the aspirational consumer in the actual casino environment and deliver various marketing objectives. We launched the arrival of Blackjack at the Casino, profiled a 1.5 million dollar jackpot winner and introduced the latest digital table games. The 30-second commercials broadcast on TV in the tri-state area, the brand’s website, social media and digital advertising including Taxi TV.
Ogilvy commissioned us to capture the high-energy of their spring Be Bright print campaign for Gap as shot by photographer Chris Craymer.
For fashion designer Rebecca Taylor, we created two short films in partnership with Creative Director Deb McKeand: one narrative (Beautiful Dreamer) and one experimental (Sunkisses). Two underlying brand themes - sparkle and bubble - were the inspiration behind the concepts, respectively. The films played on the brand’s website and in stores.
Armani Exchange commissioned us to document their important work with Liberty United, founded by social entrepreneur Peter Thum, to address gun violence in America thru a program that makes jewelry out of recycled illegal guns. The profits from the sales of the jewelry is then used to educate children in the cities where the gun metal came from. We also created a handful of brand films for A|X featuring their brand ambassadors, Kilo and Alvaro.
Yard asked us to create the moving image component to photographer Chris Craymer’s print work for their Keds Collegiate Roadtrip campaign.
Yard commissioned us to make a series of short documentaries reflecting the authentic, artisanal culture of NYC’s Hell’s Kitchen for the inaugural launch of Gotham West - a new luxury high-rise residence set in the neighborhood. The shorts featured a baker, florist, sommelier and haberdasher in addition to the main spot for the GW property.
We shot everything from comedic skits and music videos to documentaries and product launches for VS Pink, at a time when brand films were just becoming a thing. The diverse interests of the VS Pink girl drove the different film concepts and the resulting mosaic that was created was designed to work in concert, communicating her lifestyle thru an innovative creative strategy developed by us, Worktable NYC and VS Pink CEO Denise Landman.
Yard commissioned us to create brand films for several of their seasonal Hush Puppies’ print and digital campaigns. A special series of consumer profiles were conceived for the We Go Together campaign to communicate the Hush Puppies lifestyle.
For Yard, we created a 30-second product-centric piece for the Etienne Aigner brand. Natural light, slow motion and artful still life compositions lend a sense of femininity and sophistication.
